Musgrove Willows usually run a range of willow weaving courses throughout the year. These courses take place at our farm in Westonzoyland, Somerset.

The price of our courses includes expert tuition, all materials, a delicious lunch and refreshments. Attendees will leave with something beautiful, strong, environmentally-friendly and above all, very personal.

Courses Terms & Conditions

Willow weaving courses – Usual full day itinerary

9.00 – 9.30am 

Enjoy tea or coffee and meet with the class instructor and other course attendees. This gives you the opportunity to discuss any ideas.

9.30am – 1pm (approx)

Let the willow weaving begin!

1pm – 1.45pm (approx)

Enjoy a delicious lunch. (Please advise us of any special dietary requirements, allergies or disabilities when booking.)

1.45pm – 4.30pm (approx)

Finish your willow masterpiece!

Times are flexible. Course attendees are sure to go home with a finished piece.

Refreshments are available throughout the day.

Willow weaving courses


Some of our courses are held outdoors and others in work sheds. Depending on the course, you may be using steamed or wet willow rods. Please wear appropriate clothing.

Course numbers
If the course you wish to book is full, please let us know. We will endeavour to run another course if we can.

Get a group of family and friends together and take a course together. Groups of 6 and above can be accommodated.

6 or more students are needed to make a course viable, so we reserve the right to cancel or change the course date if necessary. Refunds or credit notes will be given if alternative dates are unsuitable.

At the end of your session there will be an opportunity to purchase willow, specialist tools and books to help you continue your weaving at home!
