Willow Weaving Courses

The Musgrove family has always been passionate about willow and keeping specialist weaving skills alive. It’s important to us that we share our willow knowledge and educate those who are also passionate about traditional willow crafts.

One of the best ways of doing this was the introduction of willow weaving courses here on our Somerset farm. At first members of the Musgrove family ran the workshops and taught the students. However, as demand grew more and more courses were added and specialist tutors were employed to help. Over time, strong relationships were built with a host of brilliant willow sculptors, artists, skilled basket and hurdle makers – all of them helping to teach thousands of enthusiasts the skills to make beautiful, unique willow objects.
